More big sends from the Wild Country team, this time Brian Kim of the US team with a fine acsent of China Beach at Rumney...a fine looking 14b and Brians first...good effort Brian and keep em coming... There's no pics of the route but there is a video - so here's Brian on Moonlight Buttress 12b, from last year... Brian writes:
"China Beach has got to be one of the most beautiful things I have ever climbed (Let alone, the hardest). It has awesome quality rock and superb climbing.
The route took me awhile to complete since it is an endurance route, and I hadn’t really been training for routes. China Beach took me about 10 days of effort to complete.
It was truly so much fun working the route. I actually didn’t even want to complete the route at one point since I knew the fun would be over.
But after I did red-point the route, I was ecstatic! My friend Larce captured this awesome video of the send." Check out the video of the route by clicking the link below:
