‘Support where you need it, protection where you want it, freedom built in…’

A truly innovative, multi-function design, the Matrix harness concept was developed to present the first real alternative in harnesses since webbing was tied round the waist.

Created for movement the Matrix has a radical new ‘True 3D Freedom’ belt. This places independent articulated pads only where needed, saving weight and bulk whilst providing a closer fitting waist-belt that enhances flexibility, allowing an unheralded freedom of movement.

This picture of the side of the Matrix belt shows the 'split pad design' - this allows the belt to flex more between the pads enhancing movement, giving 'True 3D Freedom'.

Complementing the waist, Matrix legs loops have been re-shaped to give support to keenly trace the muscular profile of the upper leg, again placing the padding exactly where it’s needed.

The weight saving gained by the articulated belt means that the Matrix series are all lighter than their coventional counterparts. It also means that they usher in a new era in flexibility without sacrificing comfort or performance making them the best harnesses you will ever own.

M atrix Belt Construction

The line drawing above shows how the Matrix belt is constructed with three seperate pads connected by the 25mm webbing. This means that the pads give support in the right places i.e. the sides of the hips and the lower lumber area of the back - but it also means that they are incredibly flexible and can move independently allowing you to twist and turn without the usual restrictions.

The Matrix series consists of three models that make the most of this revolutionary concept and allow the climber to choose a model which suits their style of climbing best.

Matrix Series Harness Features

Five coloured gear racks – Positioned for maximum accessibility, five loops should be enough for most adventures whilst brighter colors makes them easier to find.

3 Sigma belay loop – super-safe and marked and rated at 25kns our skinny belay loop lets you attach more biners more easily whilst giving total confidence.

15kn Rated Haul Loop - On all Matrix harnesses there is provision of a loop in the belt at the back which can be used for hauling / belaying.
