Over the years of Zeros we've had fantastic reviews for all corners of the globe - including winning the coveted Editors Choice in Climbing Magazine in their launch season. Read review.

But with any product there's always incremental improvements that can be made and as a company we can never rest on our laurels to let the competition in. Therefore we take heed of critiques and we've taken on board the comments from the last 3 seasons to review re-work and re-launch the Zeros in an improved format.

What has been very important for us is thatZeros have proved depite their size to be as tough as they come and the original specifications have been proved correct in most cases. It's been much harder to destroy - even the 1 & 2 than we thought it would be and they've lasted wall after wall.

However, there has some work to do and the major areas we've concentrated on have been really the only two we were a tiny bit unsure of when we started:

Zeros Length - We have lengthened all the Zeros significantly by adding an extra trigger guide. This was always a possiblity but we really needed the confidence of a couple of years on the market to make sure that the Zeros were strong enough to resist excess bend and strain at the initial length.

This new length makes more of a difference on the larger Zeros - it gives the triggering a better feel and makes them easier to place and remove. It also means they are easier to get in and out of deep placements.

In a comparison with th old units they are approximatly 15% longer per size and up to about an inch of reach - a good increase.

Trigger - The other part of the re-work, though less noticable at first glance is the trigger. The original unit, we were told, especially when used with a combination of taped hands and big fingers, did not feel secure enough or easy to use. In hindsight the trigger was small and the flattened oval shape, even with the gripper spikes, did not do justice to the handling that was needed.

The new trigger has been totally made-over with a much more obvious shaping to stop the fingers slipping off and is also about 40% bigger to alow for those fat '4th day wall' digits to fit easily.
