USA
Excalibur Distribution - Steve Petro and Lisa Gnade
Wild Country are incredibly lucky to be partnered with a company run by two of the best known and respected climbers in the USA. With an incredible number of first ascents between them this strong partnership were a staple of the US climbing scene from the mid 90’s onwards - with barely a magazine without one or other of them appearing.
These dedicated climbers have vast experience of all styles of climbing, both US and international), and especially to Wild Country’s benefit, their traditional experience and knowledge of Friends - stemming from ascents of some the hardest cracks in the world - is unparalleled and invaluble.

Germany
Red Chili Handelsvertretung – the German based company is the sole distributor for Wild Country and Red Chili in Germany.
Uwe Hofstaedter, is the Managing Director and has been an avid climber since he first touched rock in the mid 70's. Uwe leads the RC-Handelsvertretung team and even though modern European sport climbing is mainly lead by clipping bolts there are still many areas where "gear" is demanded. Not only for alpine climbing, but also for places like the sandstone towers of the Pfalz or classic limestone crags as found in the Donautal where the placement of Rocks and Friends to avoid grounders and make you feel a bit more comfortable!
As a continental climber Uwe was first introduced into the art of placing nuts and Friends by the late Jim Jewell. His first experiences were on historic routes as Yankee Doodle, Déjà Vu, Cenotaph Corner and a Dream of White Horses and all on his first climbing trip to UK to Cornwall and North Wales in 1980. And even nowadays he's still practicing placements during his climbing trips around the world, mainly accompanied by his friend and Red Chili partner Stefan Glowacz.
Japan
Mont Bell (Japan):
Wild Country’s Japanese partner has one of the best established networks of stores in the Japan and is also an internationally recognised brand in its own right.
"Isam Tatsuno, the founder of MontBell, was 21 years old and on his first climbing trip outside of Japan when he tackled the Eiger. So in 1969 Tatsuno had become the youngest person to climb the Eiger's North Wall, and his 21-hour ascent to the summit was the fastest ever, and thus it was in the high mountains that MontBell was born - on the North Face of the Eiger."
That experience gave Tatsuno the idea for MontBell, a company that would strive to both create, design, sell and distribute equipment of the highest standards that will perform in the most demanding conditions. Wild Country is pleased to be associated with one of the worlds biggest and best outdoor companies. Australia
Wild Country is proud to be found in the best outdoor stores in the country due to its association with Expedition Equipment. Expedition Equipment has a strong focus on climbing and Wild Country is one of their core brands which they distribute to a range of outdoor stores and climbing gyms from their warehouse in Sydney.
With a strong focus upon technical product they also distribute other brands which include Red Chili Climbing Shoes and Sterling Ropes. All stores have very experienced climbing staff on board and Wild Country also sponsor many of the best climbers and events in Australia to help promote the sport down in that land of limitless glowing orange rock. In particular, the new Zero cams have found themselves at home in the small cracks at that birthplace of RPs, Mount Arapiles.
