27th Feb 2010 New Reviews Online - Alpine Shield + Urban Climber
Some great new reviews have just arrived for Wild Country and Red Chili gear so here's some links to help you find them and see how good these independent guys think our gear is!!!!
First up is another review for the remarkable and unique Alpine Shield helmet as well as the super robust 360 helmet too....this time for UKClimbing.com.
Reviewed very positively by Hamish Dunn he says of the Alpine Shield that:
'This helmet will suit the climber who wants to buy one helmet which will perform in all types of climbing. A balance of looks and usability coupled with a reasonable price tag make this a strong contender in the ever growing helmet market. The RRP of this helmet is £74. When you consider the cost of buying a hard shell and a foam shell helmet it's really a no-brainer.'

Next up is the new Red Chili Urban Climber, a super cool new shoe which has been targetted at the gym climber primarily and is designed as a hardwearing but practical and technical shoe for the winter months!! Very appropriate this winter that's for sure...
Reviewed for Climber magazine online James Maddisons review concludes:
'It’s comfortable and stylish, but most importantly, incredibly durable. And that, in a market full of overpriced, under-resilient super shoes, is a godsend'

16th Feb 2010 Wild Co & Red Chili Sponsor British University Climbing Champ
Wild Country and Red Chili are helping to sponsor the British University Climbing Championships (BUCS) - which will be held in Sheffield for the 4th year running - and take place at 'The Climbing Works' on the 13th March.
Competition is always fierce at this event with the cream of the student climbing community eager to participate and show their merit. Wild Country has a great interest in this comp as one of our climber's Ned Feehally was the winner in 2008 as well as being British Bouldering Champion in 2008 and 2009
For full info you can go to the BUCS website.
