Stefan Glowacz first Himalayan trip...

Once again Stefan Glowacz, Red Chili founder (and Wild Country sponsored climber) will journey into the unknown as the 18th April sees Stefan on the road with his partners, Klaus Fengler and David Goettler: their destination Nepal. 
And the unknown is because when Stefan Glowacz speaks about his life, he can talk about this ‘game of climbing’ in nearly all it’s forms: from sport climbing to international competitions to wild alpine routes and free climbing in the most remote regions of the world, but in the Himalayas at high altitude never. But of course knowing Stefan it’s easy to guess that there’s no simple goal and they’ve chosen to attempt to climb the 1,800 meter and so far unconquered south face of Gauri Shanka – a big face and with the severity unknown this will be a real test for a first trip!
This expedition if a dream come true for Stefan to finally climb at over 7,000 meters. Watch this space for more info and hopefully the guys will return on 5 June with a new line in the bag!!
